AS BANNER CHURCH, IT'S OUR HONOR TO GIVE!

TITHE

The Biblical principle of the Tithe, which means tenth, is first seen in Genesis 14:18-20. This was before God’s covenant with Abraham, so this principle predates the Old Testament law— meaning it didn’t end with the New Covenant through Jesus.

Jesus affirms and commands the tithe again in the New Testament as seen in Luke 11:42. We practice tithing by setting our lives up in such a way that we give the first ten percent of our income back to God, through the local church.

Whether the principle of tithe is brand new to you or you’ve not yet taken that step of faith, we invite you to make this commitment! God promises His blessing (Malachi 3:10) and He is always faithful to provide! Learn more about how to give here.

Our giving above and beyond the tithe has a three-fold focus: Global, Local, and Future. As Kingdom Builders we support global missions through Partners and Projects, local ministry organizations and outreach, and investment into our Next Generation (Kids, Youth, and Young Adult ministries).
